After 10 years of teaching Mathematics in Secondary Schools I decided to set up my business as a Tutor in 2023. At the time, I was the Head of Mathematics in a well regarded

Multi Academy Trust with years of experience teaching in numerous settings across

Year 7 - Year 13.

 

The first question I always get is, "well why did you leave?" and the simple answer is that like it did for many people Covid-19 changed my view on life and education. My passion has always been teaching and I didn't want to walk away from that but I wanted to do it in my own way without the rigor of a traditional school setting. So here we are, still doing what I love but in a way that makes learning fun, accessible and personalised to every student.

I now work with absolutely lovely families who are in a host of different situations and have sought out help for a variety of reasons. I have students who came to me because they are struggling to pass Maths, I have students who want to achieve the highest grades and so we specifically work on challenge and others who are home schooled due to various additional needs and therefore I am their sole source of education. Every child and situation is totally unique and therefore so are their lessons with me.
